State Street Global Advisors Adds Strength to its Official Institutions Group with New Hire

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) today announced the appointment of Elliot Hentov as head of
policy and research for its official institutions group (OIG). Based in London, Hentov will report to Louis de Montpellier, global head of OIG. SSGA’s OIG has been in operation for over a decade. SSGA manages more than $405.4 billion for 76 central bank, sovereign wealth fund and government clients worldwide.*
Hentov will be responsible for developing the OIG team’s global research and thought leadership capabilities as well as helping to set the group’s strategic direction. He joins from Standard & Poor’s where he was a director in the sovereign ratings team.
Prior to this, Hentov worked at the United Nations where he was a specialist in political and economic issues for the Office of
the Special Advisor to the Secretary-General.
Commenting on the appointment, de Montpellier said, “Elliot has a wealth of experience in working with official institutions
